Overview

We are looking for a Solar Installer & Helper to become a vital part of our team. The ideal candidate will have physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and experience working with power tools. You will play an integral role in the installation and assembly of solar systems on residential and commercial rooftops. This role requires the ability to work at heights and a willingness to contribute to the success of solar installation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install solar panels at job sites

  • Mount panels on roofs or other designated locations

  • Configure wiring and inspect electrical components to ensure all systems are functioning correctly

  • Assist with connecting batteries and other solar accessories

  • Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site

  • Collaborate with team leaders and managers to ensure smooth project execution

  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to health and safety regulations when using equipment

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and hazardous materials

  • Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored after use

Qualifications/How You Will Be Successful

  • Clean driving record

  • Previous construction experience is preferred

  • Familiarity with electricity and basic wiring procedures

  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player

  • Strong communication skills

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, with assistance for heavier loads

  • Ability to work at heights, including on roofs and other elevated surfaces

  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and crawl when necessary

  • Must be comfortable with outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and wet environments
