  • Much like everyone else has stated before, we couldn't be happier with the process of getting our system installed by Tim and his team! We did a fairly comprehensive search, but Golden State hit all of the right marks for us, and their timeline lined up perfectly with ours as well. He was also VERY transparent, thorough, and quick to communicate throughout the process. The only delay we saw was related to permits being issued by the city, which is no surprise, but even that was still relatively quick, and he was on top of making sure we were consistently informed.   • Tim, Nick, and their team installed our new system within just a few days. My home initially had only the bare minimum solar setup required for new builds, and Tim was able to seamlessly integrate the new panels with the existing ones, adding a battery in the process. Other companies I contacted said they couldn't work with my existing system, but Tim made it happen. The entire process, from consultation to installation was quick and straightforward. After installation, one panel showed as offline. The team promptly replaced the microinverter, but the system still wasn't performing optimally. They came back out and replaced the panel, ensuring everything was working as it should. Recently, I noticed an error with one of the microinverters on the app. I reached out to Tim, and he responded within a day to resolve the issue.

  • We cannot say enough positive things about Tim Dominguez and his company, Golden State Solar. We were in a bind and needed to have a solar system removed quickly. Within 24 hours, Tim and his crew removed the solar system, patched the roof and did it all in less than three hours! He came at exactly the time he said he would arrive and did a great job.   • Tim and his crew installed our solar panels and battery backup very quickly, in less than 2 weeks. If it wasn't for Tim's perseverance and patience dealing with the city (permits and inspections) and PG&E's (everyone's favorite utility - Hah!!!) endless excuses and constant process changes, we would not have our system working. We were so fortunate to select Tim's company, Golden State Solar, to deal with the seemingly constant obstacles these two entities (especially PG&E) put up. In all, it took 2 months from install completion to getting the "permission to operate, PTO" to finally a working solar system.
